What you take on as a liquidity provider
- LPs take the other side of trader PnL. When traders win, the pool pays them and your share loses value.
- The pool earns open, close and borrow fees, and keeps collateral from losing and liquidated positions.
- Your deposit can lose value. Exposure caps and a max-profit cap limit, but do not remove, that risk.
- Withdrawals can be limited when utilization is high, so the pool can always cover open positions.
